CCPs are not automatically exempt from regulation as hazardous waste. However, if the CCPs are exempt from regulation as hazardous waste, they are regulated as solid waste and handling and disposal requirements must be followed. WAC 173-303-016. Currently, reuse of CCPs is not specifically authorized under Washington law or regulations.
