2004 DOE Human Resources & EEO/Diversity Symposium - Speaker Bio

Richard P. Killmeyer

Rich has worked at the U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) (and its predecessor organizations) in Pittsburgh since his graduation from Penn State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1974.   He has been involved in many different research projects dealing with fine particle beneficiation, processing, and characterization, and more recently with hydrogen membrane separation and water‑gas shift membrane reactors.  He is currently a Research Group Leader in the Fuels and Process Chemistry Division, and is responsible for developing and managing in‑house research projects in the Hydrogen Separation Group.   Rich is an original member of NETL’s Performance Management Advisory Committee (PMAC), which started with the Pittsburgh/Morgantown merger in 1996.
