Teresa M. Garcia

Teresa M. Garcia is a Senior EEO Specialist in the Office of Economic Impact and Diversity, at the Western Area Power Administration (Western).  Ms. Garcia is responsible for EEO complaint administration and adjudication, including Final Agency Decisions; serves as a liaison to Western’s regional offices regarding EEO and diversity matters; and provides advice and guidance on proposed regulations, laws, policies, and orders impacting or addressing EEO and diversity issues.  She graduated with distinction in honors from New Mexico State University and obtained a juris doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Garcia is licensed to practice law in Colorado and California, and is experienced in civil and administrative law, from both plaintiff and defense perspectives, in the realm of Federal, State, and County agencies, as well as, private practice.
