Aleshia Duncan - Labor Relations Specialist

Aleshia began her federal career in 1987, as a summer intern at the U.S. Department of Energy.  Since then, she’s gain a wealth of experience in the human resources arena.   Aleshia has trained hundreds of supervisors and mangers in the areas of employee and labor relations.  She also serves as the subject matter expert in the Department’s supervisory courses.

As a special project, Aleshia serves as Team Lead charged with developing the agency’s plan to assist wounded soldiers who have returned from the war in Iraq.Aleshia received a B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University and a M.A. from Trinity College.  Currently, Aleshia is a participant in the International Personnel Management Association’s Human Resources Leadership Program.  Her project team is developing its business case for Managing, Motivating and Developing Generational Diversity.
