Conference
Objective
The conference objective is to provide university and laboratory
researchers, faculty, students, and EPSCoR and policy leaders a venue to
understand the lab’s and universities’ needs for research, talent, and
strategic collaborations. Participants will leave with knowledge of how
to increase university-lab collaboration and student intern
opportunities and how to implement “best practice” tools and processes. |

Call for Posters
Abstracts for posters are being solicited in all areas of research.
Abstract Preparation: The preferred formats
for the abstracts are Word, pdf, wpd (Word Perfect), or ASCII text
files. If your abstract contains graphic images that are not included in
your file, submit the images in a GIF or JPEG format. Multiple files
should be zipped using WinZip or another utility. On the abstract,
please include your name and full institutional address, including
e-mail.
Submission of Abstracts: Please submit
abstracts via e-mail as attachments to
Event.Management@netl.doe.gov. Abstracts must be received no later than
May 14, 2005.
Poster Preparation: You will be
provided with both push pins and Velcro and a poster board display unit.
The area provided for each poster will be 4 panels, 22” x 45”, for a
total of 88” in length. The two center panels create a flat area 44”
wide and 45” high. There are two end panels (one will come in and the
other will go out)

- Heading and Titles – You should
supply a header label that includes the poster title, author’s
name(s), and address of primary author. All figures and tables
should be titled. The sizes, format, and number of pieces to include
are left to your discretion.

Foreign National
Visitor Notice
NETL values the contributions of international collaborations to the
scientific and technological strength of the United States and to the
U.S. Department of Energy’s mission success. It is essential to ensure
that foreign national access to our sites, programs, information, and
technologies is conducted under prescribed conditions in a manner
consistent with DOE programmatic, U.S., and DOE national security
policies, requirements, and objectives, including export control laws
and regulations. Thus, foreign national access to NETL sites, programs,
information, and technologies will be approved only if access is needed
to support the program objectives of DOE and/or U.S. national interests.
For the purposes of DOE Order 142.3, a
foreign national is any person who is not a U.S. Citizen. Lawful
Permanent Residents (formerly known as Permanent Resident Aliens) are
considered to be a foreign national under the current DOE Order. Non
U.S. citizens who are planning to attend this meeting must submit a
NETL Foreign National
Visitor Form F142.1[PDF-96KB] at least 30**/45* days
prior to the meeting. Any forms submitted to NETL under these deadlines,
may not be approved. No forms will be accepted after 21**/30* days. If
approval is not granted, the foreign national attendee will not be
permitted to participate in the meeting. There are no exceptions. It is
the responsibility of any foreign national planning to attend this event
to coordinate with NETL Event Management to ensure that approval has
been granted to attend the DOE/NSF EPSCoR Conference 2005.
Country of determination is based on the
following factors: Citizenship, place of birth, and/or country of
employment.
