The CCPI Draft Solicitation Meeting & Web Cast was held January 17, 2002 in Morgantown, West Virginia

The "Clean Coal Power Initiative (CCPI) Draft Solicitation Meeting & Web Cast" was held on January 17, 2002, at NETL in Morgantown, West Virginia. The purpose of the meeting was to solicit comments and questions regarding a draft solicitation document released on December 21, 2001, that will begin the President's $2 billion Clean Coal Power Initiative. More than 130 participants attended the meeting, and approximately 100 people participated via the Web Cast. Input from this meeting will assist DOE in designing a solicitation that best satisfies the needs of prospective participants, stakeholders, and the American public.
